Greenhouse gas emissions are changing our climate in ways that could put the Richmond community at risk, including higher temperatures, heavier rainfall, severe storms and projected future sea level rise. All of these could affect Richmond’s infrastructure, natural resources and public health. By taking action to reduce emissions and prepare for climate risks, the Richmond community can better protect its health, wellbeing and local economy.
