Modified Call Center Hours & Callback Requests

Beginning Wednesday, February 14, the Department of Public Utilities will once again modify the Call Center’s operating hours – closing at 12:00 noon on Wednesdays. This modified schedule will enable staff to provide direct follow-up to pending items in an effort to improve response times. Customer Service team members will be placing callbacks to customers between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Wednesdays.

To request a callback, email us at dpucustserv@rva.gov. In the SUBJECT field, enter CALLBACK and in the body of the email provide a brief description of your request along with the service address and your telephone number. This will help us to further prioritize your request for completion. A Customer Service team member will contact you on the first Wednesday following your request between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. If another day and timeis more convenient for you, please let us know.
