City Treasurer's Office Overview
As a Constitutional Office of the Commonwealth of Virginia the City Treasurer is responsible for receiving and processing payments for the following City of Richmond departments/offices:
- Sheriff's Office
- Commonwealth Attorney's Office
- Circuit Court
- Worker Compensation Commission
- Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court
- General District Court
The City Treasurer also serves as a liaison to the Supreme Court of Virginia. In addition, the Treasurer's Office is committed to providing support to the Finance Department through excellent customer service to enhance the overall experience of our customers.
