Powhatan Community Center is located in the Far East end of Richmond. Amenities include a gymnasium, a game room with a computer lab, a multi-purpose room and restrooms. Out side the center there are two basketball courts, shelter tennis courts , restrooms, horse shoe pits, playground equipment, swimming pool and baseball field.

Recreation programs and classes are offered in the areas of cultural arts, fitness, dance, crafts, cooking, self- improvement, computer classes, drama, sports, games, hobbies, martial arts, music, and do-it-yourself instruction.

People of all ages will find many leisure opportunities at the center.
