The City of Richmond's Department of Public Utilities is pleased to announce its 2024 Fall Citizens Academy. If you're interested in learning what goes on behind the scenes at DPU, mark your calendar for the four sessions and submit your application. During the Academy sessions, industry professionals will provide insight, tours and interactive demonstrations into how we protect public health by providing water and gas services.

Space is limited so please apply as soon as possible. While applications will be reviewed as they are received, care will be taken to ensure a dynamic mix of participants. Keep in mind the Academy is designed for participants to attend all sessions so please sign up only if you are able to make all sessions. The Academy will take place during the following dates:
