Target Audience: MOST Ages; specifically Adults (18 and up) as well as High School aged youth.
This fair is geared for anyone that is looking for resources to get or ensure their finances are in order. It's a great opportunity for a refresher or first time tips and strategies to should keep in mind in regards to navigating personal finances.
The City Treasurer’s Office of Financial Empowerment is pleased to share a Save the Date for our 6th Annual Financial Literacy Fair (2026), hosted in recognition of Financial Literacy Month.
The Financial Literacy Fair brings Richmond residents and City employees together with trusted community partners and vendors to explore resources that support financial wellness. Attendees can expect resource tables, onsite workshops, giveaways, prizes, and refreshments.
Richmond City Treasurer Nichole R. Armstead shares, “Finances are a lifelong relationship—whether we want it or not. There is always knowledge to gain or reinforce so we can maximize our experience with money. We’re excited to use this platform to ignite a passion for financial excellence and equip our residents and employees with tools to navigate financial obstacles and move toward financial freedom and breakthrough.”
