Project Summary and Scope
CSX BRIDGE REPLACEMENT FOR WALKING AND BIKING - Create protected bike/ped connections along Lombardy St from Leigh St, north of Pulse BRT station, to Virginia Union University and Northside communities.
The project includes replacement of the structural deficient bridge over CSX railroad.

Met with Virginia Union University and Maggie Walker High School to discuss project impacts, aesthetics and schedule.
Section 106 Coordination underway.
Design Public Hearing held December 18, 2024 at Maggie Walker High School. Discussed potential detour, schedule and easements needed.
