2035 Regional Long-Range Transportation Plan

Richmond: Virginia's Connected Capital

The Richmond Regional Planning District Commission (RRPDC), in partnership will all localities within the Richmond-Petersbur MSA, are developing the 2035 Long-Range Plan (LRTP) to prepare for future growth with multi-modal transportation options. 

The LRTP is a federally-required planning document outlining the transportation improvements and policies to be implemented in the MPO study area. The LRTP must include plans for at least the next twenty years, but it must also be updated at least every four years.
