Jubilation in June

The 2nd Annual Jubilation in June Festival will take place on Sunday, June 18 at Intermediate Terminal beginning at 3 p.m. Easiest way to get there? Take the GRTC Pulse to East Riverfront Station from Main Street Station! For more information, visit our Facebook event page!

Festival of the Arts

The 66th Annual Festival of the Arts takes place this summer. Featuring hundreds of local performers and showcasing a variety of performing art forms, the Festival is a Richmond tradition made possible by the Department of Parks and Recreation and community partners. 

Join us throughout the city as we bring music to the parks through our newest summer experiences, Sounds of 17th at 17th Street Market and Jazz at the Fountain at Byrd Park.

Summer Camps by Parks and Rec

The city's Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities offers many quality summer camp options for young folks, whether they're interested in sports, the arts, or outdoor activities. The department also offers year-round activities for students in the Richmond area.

Summer Meals for Kids

School may be out of session, but daily meals for students are still available to Richmond families. 

Use the USDA Food and Nutrition Service "Meals for Kids" map to find free meals near you.
