Project Summary and Scope

This project is one of the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Interim Plan projects.  The project includes the installation of new sewer pipe as a relocation of an existing pipe the runs across the Fulton Gas Works site.  The project also includes the installation of a new solids and floatable control regulator and controls to reduce the frequency and volume of CSO discarges into Gillies Creek.  The work will take place in and along westbound Williamsburg Ave west of Stoney Run Pkwy.

Bid & Award Construction Contract  – January 2023 - May 2023

Construction – June 2023 - December 2024

Project Funding

DPU Wastewater Utility Enterprise Funds in the amount of $19,700,000.  Funds for this project were appropriated in various years through FY2023.

Project Status Updates

Project construction Notice to Proceed was issued effective June 26, 2023.  Anticipate mobilization and site work to begin July 2023.
