What we do
The Office of Sustainability advances the goals of RVAgreen 2050, a plan that envisions a city where all Richmonders, regardless of their identity or neighborhood, thrive in a climate-resilient and climate-neutral community. OOS focuses on five Pathways to meet this goal, including Buildings & Energy, Community, Environment, Transportation & Mobility, and Waste Reduction & Recovery.
